How Can You Help?

... by spreading the word

You already are helping. One of FoSBT's objectives is simply to raise awareness of the problems facing Indian street kids, and to educate and inform the public about the issues and hardships that runaways, orphans, working and addict children are forced to struggle with on a daily basis. By reading this far, you have helped FoSBT towards these goals. Tell one other person and we will have gone even further. ... by sponsoring a child

Click here to see a list of the basic ingredients that form the foundation of the rehabilitation programs that SBT needs to provide for every child that is taken into its care. A one-off or regular donation covering the cost of any or all of these items will go a long way towards giving the kids the experience of having a more normal childhood with a chance of attaining a useful basic education and ultimately leading a life that consists of more than a daily struggle to survive.

Click the 'Donate' button (above right) to make a one-off or regular general donation that the FoSBT Trustees will apply towards the furtherance of FoSBT's objectives in consultation with the trustees of SBT in Delhi as to what specific needs are most urgent at the time.

SBT has a long and successful history of welcoming and working with volunteers from the UK and elsewhere, for either short or long term roles, as teachers, coordinators, artists, professionals and other bespoke assistants. Whatever your skills, we can find a useful place for you and your participation will be enormously valued by the children and staff alike. As the Trustees have all spent time in the thick of Delhi's streets, slums and shelter homes, we can say with authority that your experiencing this world first hand is likely to be hugely rewarding, even life-changing.
